Shawn Karns serves as the Secretary of the board of directors of Local Church Apologetics. Shawn has been a husband to Amber Karns since 1995.  Together they have 4 children and a number of grandchildren.  He is a manager for Technical Services at Eyefinity (VSP Global).  His lifelong journey began with a re-dedication to Jesus Christ in 1996.  He and his wife Amber served Harvest Church of God in Galesburg as Youth Pastors and Worship Leaders until 2011.  He was ordained as a Minister in 2011 under Rock Solid Truth.  Shawn served as an Elder at New Life Fellowship in Moline, IL.  which he and his family attended from  2012-2019.  Shawn and Amber are both worship leaders and they are passionate about God’s connection to Israel and how it parallels God’s blessings for Jews and Christians alike. Shawn and Amber are now active in a local church in their home town of Galesburg, IL. In his free time Shawn is a songwriter and enjoys recording in his home studio.
