Shawn Karns serves as the Secretary of the board of directors of Local Church Apologetics. Shawn has been a husband to Amber Karns since 1995.  Together they have 4 children.  He is a manager for Technical Services at Eyefinity(VSP Global).  His lifelong journey began with a re-dedication to Jesus Christ in 1996.  He and his wife Amber served Harvest Church of God in Galesburg as Youth Pastors and Worship Leaders until 2011.  He was ordained as a Minister in 2011 under Rock Solid Truth.  Currently he serves as a Worship Leader and Elder at New Life Fellowship in Moline, IL.  which he and his family have attended since 2012.  Shawn and Amber are passionate about God’s connection to Israel and how it parallels God’s blessings for Jews and Christians alike. In his free time he is a songwriter and enjoys recording in his home studio.
